Anambra Police Arrest Three Notorious Criminals, Recover Stolen Lexus SUV in Major Anti-Theft Operation
In a decisive operation, the Anambra State Police Command apprehended three suspected car thieves and recovered a stolen black Lexus 330 SUV.
The suspects—Ifesinachi Okonwko (22), Chisom Okafor (20), and Oderah Ebenezer (20)—were intercepted by the Special Anti-Cultism Squad at Kwata Junction in Awka. During interrogation, they confessed to stealing the vehicle from Isuaniocha Village in Awka North Local Government Area and admitted to being part of a criminal gang terrorizing residents in Awka.
The police have invited individuals seeking the recovered vehicle, particularly residents of Isuaniocha, to visit the Police Public Relations Officer in Awka with valid proof of ownership for verification and possible collection.
This swift action underscores the Anambra State Police Command's commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety of its citizens.
