The explosion occurred in the hotel's valet area, causing significant damage and prompting an immediate response from law enforcement and emergency services. The vehicle was found to contain fireworks, gas tanks, and camping fuel, all connected to a detonation system.

About Matthew Livelsberger

Matthew Livelsberger was an active-duty U.S. Army servicemember stationed in Germany, reportedly on leave in Colorado at the time of the incident. He had multiple addresses in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and had spent time at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, a base known for housing Army special forces command.

Both individuals rented their vehicles through the Turo app, and both had ties to Fort Bragg, though no direct overlap in their assignments has been confirmed.

Ongoing Investigation

Law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and local police departments, are continuing their investigations to determine the motives behind the explosion and any potential links to other incidents.Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
