Visit to Former President Goodluck Jonathan in Bayelsa

On Thursday evening, Peter Obi paid a cordial visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Bayelsa State. The visit served as an opportunity for Obi to extend warm New Year greetings to the former president. Beyond the celebration, the two leaders engaged in meaningful discussions on critical national matters, underscoring Obi's commitment to promoting dialogue and addressing Nigeria's challenges.



A Stop in Lagos to Greet Dele Farotimi

Following his visit to Jonathan, Obi proceeded to Lagos to meet renowned human rights lawyer and activist, Dele Farotimi. Before heading to Lagos, Obi had visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta. In his words, the visit was to reconnect with "a father figure, leader, and former President of Nigeria."
