 Tragic Accident Claims Life of FCT Police Commissioner Tunji Disu's Adopted Son

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Adam Disu, the adopted son of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Commissioner Olatunji Disu, lost his life in a fatal car accident in Abuja on January 20, 2025.



The Fatal Incident

The tragic accident occurred when Adam's vehicle, a BMW, veered off the road and caught fire upon impact.

A Promising Life Cut Short

Adam, who had been under the guardianship of CP Disu since the age of two, was a recent graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), where he earned a degree in Philosophy in 2023. He had just completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2024, serving at the Ministry of Tourism in Abuja.

Community Mourns the Loss

The untimely death of Adam has sent shockwaves through the community, eliciting an outpouring of condolences. Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar expressed his sympathy, stating, "The news about the tragic loss of the son of the commissioner of police in FCT in a ghastly auto crash is heartbreaking.

In a poignant twist, CP Disu was reportedly on a condolence visit to CSP A.A. Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer of Ushafa Division, who had recently lost his son, when he received the devastating news of Adam's accident.
