The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is at the helm of this initiative, marking its 25th anniversary with a festival that will be held at the **Godswill Akpabio International Stadium** in Uyo. The state-of-the-art stadium will serve as the venue for over **20 Olympic-style sporting events**, providing a platform for young athletes to demonstrate their skills and compete at the highest level.


Governor Umo Eno's Commitment to Success

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has pledged his full support for the festival, emphasizing the importance of sports in fostering unity and camaraderie among the Niger Delta states. During a courtesy visit from the NDDC delegation led by its Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Governor Eno assured that a dedicated working committee would be established to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
