In a whirlwind of accusations and denials, Nigerian nightlife magnate Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has vehemently denied claims of fathering a child with Kenyan woman Hellen Mutimu. This unfolding drama has captured significant public attention, intertwining allegations of abandonment, financial disputes, and involvement from prominent figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Allegations from Hellen Mutimu

Hellen Mutimu alleges that she met Cubana Chief Priest in Lagos in April 2022, leading to an intimate relationship that resulted in her pregnancy. She claims that after informing him of the pregnancy, he initially promised support but subsequently severed all communication, leaving her to fend for herself and their child. Mutimu has publicly appealed for assistance, stating, "I just need my baby to have a better life. He is now two years old. I have no place to stay, no money to feed him and I can’t afford to send him to school.

In response, Cubana Chief Priest has categorically denied the allegations, asserting that he has no knowledge of Mutimu and challenging the authenticity of her claims. He emphasized his readiness to support any child of his, stating, "God forbid that I have a child and abandon my child. You say you born for me, I say make you come Nigeria, you say make I send money first say baby dey hungry and hospital money choke, say you collect loan. Come, I no send you to hospital, I no even know you from anywhere no trace whatsoever.

Involvement of Burna Boy and Associates

The controversy took another turn when Mutimu accused associates of Nigerian musician Burna Boy—specifically Abu Salami and Lucky Udu—of coercing her into publicly thanking Burna Boy for financial assistance she claims she never received. She alleged that they pressured her to acknowledge receiving ₦30 million from Burna Boy and demanded a share of any financial aid provided. Mutimu also accused Udu of seeking personal and sexual favors.
